Uz. Adam Shamil
President, Anti-Corruption Commission, Maldives

Mr. Adam Shamil commenced his career with the Anti-Corruption Commission in 2011. Subsequently, on March 17, 2022, he was appointed to the Commission by the President of the Republic of Maldives with parliamentary approval. Concurrently, he was elected as the President of the Commission.
Mr. Shamil holds a Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) and an Honors Degree in Law (LL.B). He has also participated in extensive training programs on anti-corruption and governance in various international settings.
His sustained dedication and substantive contributions have positioned him as a respected figure in anti-corruption and governance initiatives, both within the Maldives and in the international arena.
