Alaa Abed Oudah Al-Gazai

Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department at the Iraqi Tourism Board, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Iraq.

Mr. Alaa Abed Oudah Al-Gazai is the Director General of the Administrative and Financial Department at the Iraqi Tourism Board, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities. He holds a Master’s degree in Media and Public Relations and brings extensive experience in public administration, electoral management, and international cultural cooperation. He previously served as Director General of the Independent High Electoral Commission and Director of Administration for Caritas Internationalis. His other key roles include Director General of Elections Abroad, Director General of Cultural Relations at the Ministry of Education, and Secretary General of the Iraqi National Commission for Education, Culture, and Science. Mr. Al-Gazai also represented Iraq at both ALECSO and ASESCO, contributing to regional education and cultural initiatives.
