Serigne Bassirou Gueye
President, National Office for the Fight against Fraud and Corruption (OFNAC), Senegal
Mr. Serigne Bassirou Gueye was appointed President of the National Office for the Fight against Fraud and Corruption (OFNAC) by Decree No. 2022-2010 on December 1, 2022.
A trained magistrate since 1997, Mr. Gueye holds an Advanced Studies Diploma (D.E.A.) and a Master’s in Public Law. He has served in several high-level judicial roles, including Minister – Legal Advisor to the President, Public Prosecutor at the Dakar High Court, and Deputy Attorney General at the Dakar Court of Appeal.
In addition to his judicial work, he has been active in legal and civil society organizations, holding leadership roles in national and international legal associations.
